Selig Nationwide Real Estate Limited is an owner operated company, the two shareholders being actively engaged in the selling field as well as managing the offices. Our office is in the hub of the Lower Hutt CBD.
Selig's first office was opened in the late 1960's in Wainuiomata then the Lower Hutt office in the mid 1980's.
In 2003 Stokes Valley Real Estate Ltd became a franchise of Selig Real Estate Ltd, enabling Seligs to have a much wider coverage of the Valley. The Selig Stokes Valley office has a long standing high profile office presence in Stokes Valley.
Selig Nationwide Real Estate specialises in marketing residential and lifestlye block real estate.
We also operate a comprehensive Property Management Service covering the whole Hutt Valley. Hazel Johnson our property manager has been with Seligs 19 years and is highly qualified in all aspects of Real Estate.
The Selig Team is made up of around 15 salespeople and administrative support staff.
Selig Nationwide Real Estate is a shareholder, in "Nationwide Real Estate Limited", a collective involving independently operated Real Estate offices throughout the country. This association enables us to share marketing ideas, staff training and referral business and gives wider impact to our distinctive red and green corporate image.
Although having national connections, being locally owned and operated means we are not controlled by some distant head office. This allows us a "hands on" approach to respond directly to market demands and quickly to client’s specific needs. Our reputation in the market place is a paramount importance to us.
Encouraging the Sales Peoples ongoing formal training is of utmost importance to Selig and because of this we seek out the best independent staff trainers in the country and share the cost with the Sales Team.
Selig acknowledges the importance of upholding the standards of the Real Estate Industry in both education and ethics.
Our staff are fully trained and compliant with the new Real Estate Agents Act 2008. Every member of our Sales team shared the cost of voluntary compliance training, a credit to theirs and the companies desire to protect our clients. Such is the desire for our team to stay on top of 'Best Practice' in Real Estate many of our team are volunterily continuing their studies.
